Hong Kong-based Jardine Matheson buys Australian diagnostic group I-MED for US$2.4 billion
Jardine Matheson, a Hong Kong-based investment company, acquired I-MED Radiology Network, an Australian diagnostic and teleradiology group, for A$3.4 billion (US$2.4 billion). The deal includes 215 diagnostic imaging clinics across Australia and New Zealand, marking one of Jardine Matheson's largest acquisitions following its purchase of Mandarin Oriental.
