Leaving family hardest part of Lai Ka-ying’s space mission, sister says
Hong Kong's first astronaut, Lai Ka-ying, faces emotional challenges leaving her family behind during a six-month space mission. Her elder sister, Lai Ka-man, noted that her three children, now in primary school, are being cared for by grandparents and family members since her 2024 selection as a payload specialist.
