As an Army widow, I will never forget how ordinary Americans honored my husband

A 27-year-old Army Reserve Captain, Andy, died in a Humvee accident during a training exercise in Virginia on Nov. 2, 2023. His widow described an outpouring of public honor during the funeral procession, including firefighters and civilians saluting at overpasses and along highways as the family transported his body.
