Former prosecutor calls for EU statute blocking US sanctions on ICC members
A former prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC) has called for an EU statute to block U.S. sanctions against ICC officials. The U.S. imposed sanctions on 11 ICC members, including nine judges and the chief prosecutor, in response to arrest warrants issued for Israeli cabinet members, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
