Feds subpoena Hasan Piker, Medea Benjamin over Cuba trips

Federal officials have subpoenaed Marxist influencer Hasan Piker and CodePink cofounder Susan Medea Benjamin as part of an investigation into potential violations of U.S. sanctions laws related to their March 2023 Cuba trips. The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control is examining whether activists coordinated with Cuban government entities or financed support for the island's communist regime through the 'Nuestra América Convoy' delegation.
