Popular kebab chain pauses beef sales after E. coli outbreak sickens 9 in California
A popular kebab restaurant chain in Southern California has halted sales of a menu item nationwide after an E. coli outbreak sickened nine people, including five hospitalized children. The California Department of Public Health linked the infections to Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) from grilled beef.
