First female Druze doctor in Israel awarded prize for breaking barriers

Dr. Nadia Khir, the first female Druze doctor in Israel, was awarded the prestigious Habama Shelahen prize for pioneering efforts 35 years ago to provide healthcare to women in her community who could not seek care from male practitioners.
