Tesla recalls thousands of Model Ys at risk of… missing a sticker
Tesla has issued a recall for 14,575 Model Y vehicles manufactured between November 2024 and April 2026 due to a missing weight certification sticker on the driver's side door. The sticker, which displays maximum safe loaded weight, tire information, and manufacture date, was missed due to a malfunction in an automated vision-scanning tool at Tesla's Fremont factory. This recall cannot be resolved through a software update and requires physical replacement of the missing label.
