Journalist Steven Rosenbaum's new book about AI and truth contains fabricated quotes generated by AI tools, including quotes falsely attributed to tech reporter Kara Swisher and Northeastern University professor Lisa Feldman Barrett. Despite writing a book warning about how AI distorts truth, Rosenbaum is conducting a citation audit to correct future editions.
