Tennessee school board member charged after calling teenage girl ‘hot’

Tennessee school board member Keith Ervin, 59, was charged with assault in May after making an inappropriate comment calling a teenage girl 'hot' at a public school board meeting in April. The charge was filed under a Tennessee statute that prohibits intentionally or knowingly causing physical contact or offensive conduct toward another person.
