Elderly couple targeted by scammer pretending to be actor Tom Selleck found dead in suspected murder-suicide

An elderly couple in Riverside County, California was targeted by a scammer impersonating actor Tom Selleck and defrauded. The couple was subsequently found dead in a suspected murder-suicide on May 15 when deputies responded to their home in Bermuda Dunes.
