Man shot by deputies after allegedly charging at officer with knife in Azusa

A man armed with a knife was shot by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies on Wednesday afternoon in Azusa after allegedly charging toward an officer. The deputy-involved shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of North Orangecrest Avenue in an unincorporated area near Azusa.
