Spotify is launching AI-generated remixes

Spotify and Universal Music Group announced a licensing deal enabling users to create AI-generated remixes and covers of songs through a paid Premium add-on. Artists can opt out of the program but will earn royalties if they participate. This is the first concrete product from Spotify's October announcement of working with major labels to develop responsible AI products.
