Web devs sleeping with the enemy: AI is doing their job and they worry it's after their desk too

A survey of 7,258 web developers shows that 63% now use AI to generate over half their code, up significantly from early 2025. Nearly half of developers worry AI will displace their jobs, though 74% find AI tools integral to their workflow and 88% believe AI tool quality has improved year-over-year.
