Rapid City Man Sentenced to Five Years in Federal Prison for Attempted Receipt of Child Pornography

A Rapid City, South Dakota man was sentenced to five years in federal prison for attempted receipt of child pornography on May 19, 2026. U.S. Attorney Ron Parsons announced the sentencing, which was handed down by U.S. District Judge Camela C. Theeler.
