Schools are ‘pipeline’ to joblessness for many people, says ex-Labour adviser

Former Labour adviser Peter Hyman has warned that schools are functioning as a 'pipeline' to joblessness for many UK young people, describing youth unemployment as a 'national scandal'. He has called for urgent government action including banning social media and reforming education to address the growing population of young people not in education, employment, or training (NEET).
