Mother killed, daughter in critical condition after multi-vehicle crash in Hawthorne

A mother, April Clements, 42, was killed and her 17-year-old daughter Jada was critically injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Hawthorne on May 17. The collision occurred at the intersection of Imperial Highway and Inglewood Avenue when they were struck by a speeding driver.
