Fugitive in California murder arrested in Mexico with missing kids

A California fugitive wanted for murdering his ex-girlfriend was arrested in Mexico and extradited to the U.S. along with the couple's two young children who had been missing since July 2024. The Sacramento Police Department had been investigating the case since responding to a call on July 8, 2024.
