Woman arrested after allegedly beheading Jesus statue outside Catholic church

A 41-year-old woman named Deyonna Subert was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief after allegedly decapitating a Jesus statue outside St. Mary's Church in East Islip, Long Island on May 15. The statue's head was later found in nearby bushes, and the church community has begun fundraising efforts to repair it.
