Ex-DoJ prosecutor charged with sending sealed Jack Smith Trump report to personal email

Former Department of Justice prosecutor Carmen Mercedes Lineberger has been charged with felony counts of theft of government property after allegedly emailing herself a sealed investigative report related to the Trump documents investigation and attempting to conceal the files by disguising them as a bundt cake recipe. Lineberger, who worked as a managing assistant US attorney in Florida, faces two counts of theft and additional charges related to document alteration.
