GOP House rep’s wife to temporarily serve as surgeon general

Stephanie Haridopolos will temporarily serve as surgeon general, taking on duties as the Trump administration tries to get a nominee confirmed. She is married to Rep. Mike Haridopolos and is a top staffer in the Office of the Surgeon General. Assistant Secretary for Health Admiral Brian Christine has delegated authority.
