Blinded and broken, Sunny the owl becomes another casualty of Russia’s war

A male long-eared owl, nicknamed Sunny, was blinded and badly injured during a Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia in February. The owl is now recovering in Dnipro with Veronica Konkova. The incident highlights the toll of the war on Ukraine's bird population.
