California's largest active wildfire may have been sparked by shipwrecked mariner

A shipwrecked mariner fired flares on the same day California's largest active wildfire ignited on Santa Rosa Island. The U.S. Coast Guard received a report of a vessel breaking into pieces after going aground. The cause of the wildfire is being investigated.
