OpenAI co-founder Andrej Karpathy joins Anthropic

Andrej Karpathy, a co-founder of OpenAI, has joined Anthropic as part of its pre-training team to accelerate pretraining research. Karpathy is a well-known AI researcher and was previously Tesla's director of AI. He will help launch a new team focused on using Claude to advance AI development.
