Boy, 9, recounts deadly shooting at San Diego mosque: ‘We saw a bunch of bad stuff’

A 9-year-old boy named Odai Shanah witnessed a deadly shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego and described hearing gunshots and huddling in a closet. The attack occurred on Monday at the mosque complex, which houses an Islamic day school. Odai's mother emigrated from Gaza to southern California two decades ago.
