Cornyn suggests Trump won’t back him in Texas Senate runoff: ‘I think that ship has finally sailed’

Incumbent Sen. John Cornyn has given up hope of receiving an endorsement from President Trump in the Texas GOP Senate primary runoff. Cornyn made the comment after voting in Austin, Texas. The runoff is currently underway with early voting in progress.
