Israeli forces intercepted a boat carrying activists seeking to challenge the blockade of Gaza, stopping the vessel about 82 nautical miles from Gaza. The interception is part of a larger effort by the Global Sumud Flotilla to challenge Israel's naval blockade and highlight living conditions in Gaza. Dozens of vessels had departed from Turkey last week as part of the flotilla.
