Government ‘urgently seeking’ status of 11 Australian Gaza flotilla activists detained by Israel

Eleven Australian activists were detained by Israeli forces while attempting to deliver aid to Gaza as part of a global flotilla. The Global Sumud Flotilla alleged that the Israel Defense Forces encircled 38 ships in international waters off the coast of Cyprus. The Australian government is seeking confirmation of their welfare.
