Fast-Moving Sandy Fire Out of Control Near Los Angeles

A brush fire in Southern California's Simi Valley has prompted evacuations due to high winds fueling the blaze, consuming about 184 acres and remaining out of control. The Sandy Fire broke out Monday morning about 20 miles northwest of Los Angeles. State fire officials are handling the situation.
