California’s largest wildfire is burning in a unique place

A wildfire burned over 10,000 acres on Santa Rosa Island in Channel Islands National Park, prompting the island's closure to the public. The fire began on Friday and had burned 10,029 acres by Sunday. The island will remain closed until further notice.
