Crime increasingly a ‘serious barrier’ to UK growth, say business leaders

UK business leaders warn that crime is a serious barrier to economic growth, with rising levels of theft, fraud, and cyber-attacks affecting companies. A survey by the British Chambers of Commerce shows two-fifths of companies experienced some form of crime in the past year. The BCC calls for increased government support to address this issue.
