WHO declares global health emergency over Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda

The World Health Organization declared the Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda a public health emergency of international concern after more than 300 suspected cases and 88 deaths. The WHO advised that the outbreak does not meet pandemic criteria. The situation is being closely monitored.
