House Democrats fail to fracture GOP support for Trump's Iran strategy in war powers vote

House Democrats failed to gain Republican support for a resolution to curb President Donald Trump's war powers in Iran, with a 212-212 vote. The resolution aimed to end hostilities against Iran without congressional authorization. Every Democratic lawmaker except Rep. Jared Golden voted for the measure.
