New Google accounts may only get 5GB free storage — unless you link a phone number

New Google accounts will have limited free storage of 5GB unless a phone number is linked, previously users received 15GB regardless of linking a phone number. This change affects new account holders. The previous 15GB limit is no longer applicable to new users without a linked phone number.
