Former Newsom, Becerra aide Dana Williamson strikes plea deal in corruption case

Dana Williamson, a former aide to Governor Gavin Newsom and gubernatorial candidate Xavier Becerra, has struck a plea deal in a federal corruption case, pleading guilty to three counts. The other 20 charges will be dropped. Williamson's plea agreement was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
