Midsized cities’ population steady as national growth slows: Census

Midsized cities in the U.S. saw their population remain steady as the national growth rate slowed, according to a release from the U.S. Census Bureau. Smaller cities outside of high traffic metro areas outpaced their counterparts in residential gains. Places with populations of around 25,000 to 70,000 saw the most growth.
