Trump Demands Medicaid Data for Deportation. Some States Go a Step Further.

Several Republican-led states have joined President Donald Trump's deportation efforts by requiring public health agencies to report Medicaid recipients with questionable legal status to immigration authorities. At least four states, including Indiana, Louisiana, Montana, and Wyoming, have passed similar laws. This trend is expected to spread among GOP-controlled states.
