Billionaire Dem donor who turned on party after allegations against Swalwell is arrested

Billionaire Stephen Cloobeck was arrested on a felony charge of attempting to prevent or dissuade a victim or witness from testifying, after cutting ties with former Rep. Eric Swalwell amid sexual misconduct allegations. Cloobeck was released on $300,000 bail and claims the charges are false. He had previously supported Swalwell's bid for California governor before distancing himself from the Democratic Party.
