Facial recognition jails innocent grandmother, attorney says

Angela Lipps, a 50-year-old grandmother from Tennessee, was wrongly arrested and jailed for over five months due to a facial recognition error in a bank fraud case in North Dakota. She was later released when the case was dismissed. The arrest was made despite her claims of never having been to North Dakota or on an airplane.
