Person fatally crushed while digging under Santa Ana bridge

A person was found dead after being crushed by falling debris while digging a tunnel under a bridge in Santa Ana. The incident occurred on Tuesday around 8:30 a.m. on the 2100 block of West 17th Street. Orange County Fire Authority personnel were called to the scene.
