Waymo recalls robotaxis for driving on flooded roads

Waymo is recalling its autonomous driving software due to issues with driving on flooded roads, affecting 3,791 vehicles. The recall was prompted by an incident where a Waymo robotaxi proceeded at reduced speed on a flooded road despite detecting it. Waymo is working on a remedy and has updated its vehicles in the interim.
