Mayor of California city resigns over charges of being a foreign agent of China

Eileen Wang, mayor of Arcadia, California, resigned after being charged with acting as an illegal foreign agent of China and agreed to plead guilty to a felony count. She could face a sentence of 10 years in prison. The charges were brought by the US Department of Justice.
