Trump renominates Cameron Hamilton to lead disaster response agency Fema

Donald Trump has renominated Cameron Hamilton to lead the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema) after he was previously fired for opposing plans to abolish the agency. Hamilton was dismissed as acting administrator last year after testifying against abolition plans at a House hearing. He had stated that eliminating Fema is not in the best interests of the American people.
