Maine progressive says he won’t back Schumer even after Democrats unite behind Collins challenger

Graham Platner, a progressive Democrat and Senate candidate, says he won't support Chuck Schumer as Senate Democratic leader despite having a cordial conversation with him. Platner is running against Republican Sen. Susan Collins in Maine's midterm elections. He advocates for an economically populist agenda and has backing from Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
