Maine progressive says he won’t back Schumer even after Democrats unite behind Collins challenger

Graham Platner, a progressive Democrat, won't support Chuck Schumer as Senate Democratic leader despite having a cordial conversation with him. Platner is running against Republican Sen. Susan Collins in Maine's midterm elections. Platner advocates for an economically populist agenda and has the backing of Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
