Overnight blaze destroys Westside home, forces evacuations

A home on Los Angeles' Westside was destroyed in an overnight blaze, forcing evacuations. The fire was reported at 2:15 a.m. on Beloit Avenue near Santa Monica Boulevard. Dozens of firefighters responded to the scene.
