Man who died during hike on Mt. Wilson Trail identified as New Zealand-born music composer

A 53-year-old music composer and professor from New Zealand died after a medical emergency on the Mount Wilson Trail. The incident occurred on Saturday at around 10 a.m. The man was identified as a beloved local professor.
