A lab worker built a fake PC to circumvent his manager's decision to move the microwave and coffee machine. The worker printed a screenshot of his desktop onto paper and laminated it, then placed it in an unused office with a keyboard and mouse. The ruse was successful, and the appliances remained in use until the worker retired.
