Former longtime Florida Republican lawmaker dies

Former Florida Rep. Bill Posey died at 78 after serving in the US House of Representatives from 2009 to 2025, representing Florida's 15th and 8th congressional districts. He was surrounded by his wife and two daughters. Posey had a distinguished service record in the Florida House.
