Californian exposed to hantavirus aboard cruise ship resides in Bay Area, officials say

A Bay Area resident who was on a cruise ship with a hantavirus outbreak has returned to Santa Clara County and is being monitored by health officials. The resident was exposed to the deadly virus while aboard the ship. Health officials are keeping a close eye on the individual.
